Who this is for

Honest match per persona.

Good for

  • Recreational Player

If the buyer owns a SkyTrak and uses an iPad already, the SkyTrak iOS app is a complete sim — no Windows PC required. Course library and visuals are limited compared to GSPro.

  • Space-Constrained

An iPad on the table next to the hitting area is the smallest-footprint sim setup possible. No tower, no mini PC.

  • Cost-Effective Buyer

If the buyer already owns a current iPad, the marginal cost of the sim PC is zero. Otherwise the iPad ($349+) is the cheapest path.

Not for

  • Performance Seeker

SkyTrak's iOS app does not run GSPro, FSX Play, or Trackman VG3. Performance buyers running serious GSPro practice need Windows.

  • Showroom

An iPad on a stand doesn't anchor a premium showroom build. SurfThing or NZXT Player: Two are the right picks.

  • Family Setup

Single-app limitation. A multi-user household typically wants the broader course library and multi-launch-monitor compatibility that GSPro on Windows provides.
