Good for
- Showroom
If the build's premise is 'the room handles every part of the game,' putting analysis closes the loop. The +$2,500 module is the cleanest path to tour-grade putting data without bolting on a second device.
- Performance Seeker
Putting is 40% of strokes — practicing it with the same data quality as full-swing reps is a measurable advantage. The Putting Analysis module reads face/path/impact at the millisecond resolution the GCQuad applies to the rest of the bag.
Not for
- Cost-Effective Buyer
+$2,500 over an already top-tier purchase. Most amateurs improve their putting more with practice volume than with face-angle data.
- Recreational Player
Casual play doesn't reward face-angle precision on putts. Stick with the base GCQuad if you want one, or look at a different tier entirely.
- Family Setup
Floor-mount footprint + repositioning between right- and left-handed users hasn't changed from the base GCQuad. The putting upgrade doesn't help here.
- Space-Constrained
Same room requirements as the base GCQuad — putting module doesn't change the footprint, but the price tier presumes a dedicated room.
